Holiday special train started on Shimla-Kalka track

In view of the increasing number of tourists during the summer season, the Railways has started a holiday special train on the heritage railway track from Shimla to Kalka. On Sunday, this train brought passengers from Kalka to Shimla. According to the information received from the Railways, 80% passengers traveled in this holiday train on the first day.

This train left from Shimla on Sunday at 9:20. Reached Kalka at 3:50 pm. On Monday it will leave Kalka at 1:05 PM and reach Shimla at 7:30 PM. Second class minimum fare of Rs 50 is being charged. Railways has decided to run this train till July 1 so that the tourists do not have any problem in coming and going. Sanjay Gera, Railway Superintendent of Shimla station says.
