I decided to shoot on seeing sugarcane field: Vishal

In the making of films, along with the story and the cast, the shooting location and set also have special importance. Due to this importance, director Vishal Furia shot his film Chhori in Pipariya, Madhya Pradesh. Chhori starring Nushrat Bharucha is a Hindi remake of the Marathi film Lapachhapi directed by Vishal itself. Vishal shot Lapachhapi in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Talking about the reason for shooting this film in Pipariya, Vishal says, “We have done recce of many places for the shooting of this film.

I had to show a new location in this film. I and the makers of this film have shot some things in Madhya Pradesh before. There are good facilities and environments for shooting. As per the setup of my film, when I went to see the sugarcane fields in Pipariya, there were nine-ten feet of sugarcane standing in the fields. On seeing them, it was decided that the shooting of the film would be done there. According to Vishal, he has made this film in a very different way from the original film. Chhori will be available on Amazon Prime Video from 26th November.
