Indian-origin man missing after reaching Mount Everest

Singapore | An Indian-origin Singaporean mountaineer has gone missing after reaching the summit of Mount Everest. His family has demanded immediate ascertainment of his condition. According to a petition filed on the website of ‘Change Organization’, Srinivas Saini Dattatreya left Singapore for Nepal last month to climb the world’s highest peak. His wife Sushma Soma of Chennai origin has pleaded for help. Carnatic vocal music award winner Sushma Soma said that the last time she spoke via satellite phone was on Friday while coming down from the mountain peak. Then his health was bad. Srinivas’s cousin Divya Bharat has written in the petition that Srinivas fell ill while descending from Mount Everest. In such a situation, it is possible that Dattatreya got separated from the rest of his group.
