Infosys IT Portal initial problems fixed

The government on Tuesday said that Infosys has fixed the initial technical issues faced by the new income tax portal. Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Choudhary, in a written reply to a question, told the Rajya Sabha that the new portal of the Income Tax Department was launched on June 7, and on the very first day, many people including taxpayers, tax professionals, and many others had complained of irregularities in it. After this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had called a meeting on 22 June with the officials of Infosys, the company that developed the portal.

According to the RBI, 12,889 companies were closed during the financial year 2020-21. During the same period, 87 companies merged. According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in the Rajya Sabha, between 2018 and June 2021, while 2,38,223 companies were closed, 651 companies merged.

350 Charging Stations set up under FAME India: 350 stations are functioning in different cities for charging electric vehicles. They have been established under the Fame India Scheme. This information was given by the Minister of State for Heavy Industries Krishnapal Gurjar in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
