Lahore set up for Mukhbir web series in Punjab

The tense relations and conflict-related topics between India and Pakistan have always attracted filmmakers. Shivam Nair, the director of the film Naam Shabana, is also making a web series on the same subject under the name Mukhbir. The web show will be based on the book Mission to Pakistan: An Intelligence Agent in Pakistan by Malay Krishna Dhar.

It will be set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Produced for the digital platform G5, the story of the show will revolve around an Indian spy who played a key role in the 1971 war. Talking about the show, Shivam says, If all goes well, we will start shooting for the show in November. The show is likely to come to the public in April-May next year. Since the entire story of the show is set between Delhi and Lahore. So in the show, we will show the locations of Delhi, Punjab, Kashmir, and Kullu Manali. In the current circumstances, we cannot go to Lahore, so we will shoot in Punjab itself by setting up Lahore. At present, no information has been revealed about the cast of this show.
