Maruti hikes prices of CNG vehicles by up to Rs 15,000

The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India has increased the prices of its select vehicles by up to Rs 15,000 from Tuesday. These include all CNG models of all other vehicles including all models of the hatchback Swift. The company, in the information given to the stock exchanges, where the ex-showroom (Delhi) prices of these vehicles have been increased. This hike has come into effect from July 12 (Tuesday).

Before the latest price hike, the ex-showroom price of Swift models in New Delhi was Rs. 5.73-8.27 Lakh. Maruti sells its CNG variants of Alto, Celerio, S-Presso, WagonR, Eeco and Ertiga. Their prices start from 4.43 lakhs to 9.36 lakhs. In April this year also, Maruti had increased the prices of vehicles by up to 22,500. At that time all models of Celerio and Swift were kept out of the price hike.
