New appointments in all sectors in June

Along with the relaxation of the lockdown, new appointments in all sectors in June have indicated an improving economic condition. According to a report by the job website SCIKEY Market Network, companies from non-technical sectors have made new appointments. Based on the post recruitment data on the website, there has been an improvement of 21 percent in banking sector recruitment in June as compared to May. On the other hand, major industries like IT and BPO have registered a growth of 18 percent in the pharmaceutical sector.

While there has been an improvement of 20 percent in the demand for recruitment in the healthcare sector by 16.9 percent. Other sectors such as insurance, retail, education, and FMCG have also shown the progress of 12 percent, five percent, 12.1 percent, and 16 percent respectively. However, there has been a decline of eight percent in recruitment in the telecom sector in June as compared to May. Jobs such as software developers (11.8%), site engineering (11.8%), finance (9.9%), and project managers (4.9%) have shown positive growth.
