Now run four devices with one WhatsApp account

Whatsapp has been working on the multi-device support feature for a long time. Now, this feature has been released for beta testers. Soon other users will also be able to use this feature. With this, they will be able to run WhatsApp account on four devices simultaneously without having to keep their phone online. If you are using the beta version of the app, then learn how to use the WhatsApp multi-device feature.

Right now you can use WhatsApp on the web and on your phone at the same time, but the multi-device feature will allow you to use the WhatsApp account on up to four devices and that too without keeping your phone online. To use this feature, some steps have to be followed.

  • Open WhatsApp on your phone and tap on the three dots in the top right corner. You will now see a new ‘Linked Devices’ option instead of WhatsApp Web.
  • This will take you to a new ‘Link a device’ page where you will see the Multi-Device Beta feature. Tap on it. Since this feature is currently in beta, you will have to click ‘Join Beta’ on the next page.
  • Once you join the beta, you can start using WhatsApp on other devices using ‘Link a device’ from the same setting.
