Prabhas’ film ‘Adipurush’ collected 140 crores worldwide

The Prabhas starrer film “Adipurush” was released on Friday and has already generated buzz for its poor VFX, modern dialogues, and poor casting, leading to criticism from some quarters. However, the film has managed to collect an impressive Rs 140 crores worldwide in terms of opening day collections at the Indian box office. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected Rs 37.25 crore in the Hindi version on the first day in India. Including other states of the country, the film has earned a total of Rs 88.50 crore on the first day. While these are impressive numbers, they fall short of Prabhas’s own films “Bahubali 2” and “Saaho.”
