Considering the potential and demand of the story, filmmakers these days are not holding back in deciding to make the films in two parts. Like Bahubali film, South Indian actor Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa: The Rise, which was released in theaters on Friday, will also be released in two parts. On this occasion, Allu explained the reason behind the film being made in two parts and said, “When director Sukumar told me the story of this film, I told him that it is a four-hour story, how will I show it in two hours.
On this, he said that by compressing (shortening) the story, he will show it in two hours. But when we started shooting, instead of getting shorter, the story was getting longer. Then we decided to make this film in two parts. This film was the hardest film I have ever done. It took me as much effort as four films to make this one film. During this, Allu told the megastar of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan as his inspiration and said that I have grown up watching Amitabh ji’s films.
