Rights of films ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ sold for Rs 480 crores

Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming films, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’, have been making headlines lately. The former will feature Nayantara in the lead role alongside Khan. Both films have reportedly been sold at a premium price, which is not surprising given the popularity of Shahrukh Khan and his films.

Similarly, the rights of ‘Dunki’ have been sold for about Rs 230 crores, making it the highest price ever paid for the rights of an individual film. Recently, it was reported that the trailer of ‘Jawan’ will be released alongside ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One’ in theatres. The film also stars Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi and is being directed by Atlee Kumar. ‘Jawan’ is set to release worldwide on September 7th in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
