The film will be based on the backdrop of Mahabharata, in which Suriya will play one of the most complex characters of his career, Karna. For the role of Karna, the search was on for an actor who could easily switch from one field to another and who could be better than Surya. ‘Karna’ will be a pan India film, which will be released in multiple languages ​​and is expected to go on floors in 2024. Mehra has already prepared the blueprint for the film and now there is a delay in getting it executed properly. Suriya has held several meetings with Mehra and believes that Karna would be the right fit for him to make his Bollywood debut.
