Srijit Mukherjee may re-shoot the scenes shot in Shabaash Mithu

Actress Taapsee Pannu may have to re-shoot the scenes she shot for the film Shabaash Mithu. In fact, a few weeks back, director Rahul Dholakia had decided to step down from directing the Indian women’s ODI cricket team captain Mithali Raj’s biopic film. After this, the direction of the film was given to the hands of Bengali film director Srijit Mukherjee. Before the second wave of corona infection hit the country, Rahul had shot about 25-30 percent of the film at Ramoji Studios in Mumbai and Hyderabad. After shooting in Hyderabad, he is the next director of this film.

The schedule was to be shot in Bangalore. But due to the arrival of the second wave of corona infection, all the plans were canceled. Meanwhile, Rahul left the film in the coming days due to Taapsee’s busy schedule and the film taking more time than the scheduled time. According to sources close to the film, Srijit is now planning to re-shoot the scenes shot by Rahul. A final decision has not been taken on this, but Srijit is in constant talks with the producers regarding this. Srijit is in favor of shooting the film from the beginning. Talking about Taapsee, she is currently busy with the preparations for her production film Blur.
