Video Journalist (Paid Internship), Bay TV Liverpool

Fixed Term – 6 Months, £14,290 pro rata (equates to £7,145 for six month fixed term)
35 hours per week but the post will require weekend and out-of-hours
working

Bay TV is working closely with partners on the Liverpool Cultural Destinations programme
and wishes to recruit a paid intern to undertake video journalistic work to support both the
operations of Bay TV and the aims of the Cultural destinations programme.

The intern will be employed by Bay TV and will develop and deliver a series of programmes / short films which tell the story of the breadth and richness of Liverpool’s arts, cultural and built heritage environment.

Programmes will focus on the arts and cultural legacy in the city and its impact on residents in, and visitors to, modern-day Liverpool. The captured footage would be designed to show a broader picture of Liverpool than the “traditional” visitor promo packages (e.g. not focussed on Beatles or Football). Partners will also use the programmes to collect feedback from business visitors and conference delegates about perceptions of Liverpool and how/if they were changed by their latest visit and/or cultural experience.
