Vijay’s ‘Leo’ created a new record in Kerala

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is in constant headlines these days. His next film is ‘Leo’. The film has created a new record in Kerala even before its release. As per the reports, the film has done a phenomenal business in the state of Kerala. In this case, it has also beaten films like ‘RRR’ to ‘Bahubali 2’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’. The Kerala distribution rights of the film have been sold for Rs 16 crore. This is the biggest deal ever done for any non-Malayalam film in Kerala.

Let us tell you that the distribution rights of Rajinikanth’s superhit film ‘2.0’ were sold for Rs 14 crore, while ‘Bahubali 2’ was at number two with Rs 10.5 crore, ‘RRR’ at number three with Rs 10 crore and fourth place But there was ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’, whose distribution rights were sold in Kerala for Rs 9 crore. Now ‘Leo’ has captured the first place leaving behind all these films. Amidst the massive promotion of the film, it is reported that it will release in record number of theaters in the US. Apart from Vijay, Sanjay Dutt will also be seen in ‘Leo’.
